Dedication of Life Center/Bible Study: 9:00 A.M.

The CLR Branch of St. Paul Lutheran Church invites you to the Mother's Day celebration service to promote God's gift of life. Rev. Robert Fleischmann, national director of Christian Life Resources, will serve as the guest preacher during both services.

Between services, the dedication of the CLR Branch Life Center will take place, followed by a presentation on the work of Christian Life Resources.

4-Part Bible Class Series on Life Issues
Salem Lutheran Church, 6840 N. 107th St., Milwaukee, WI

Mr. Paul Snamiska, CLR Program Administrator, will present part 3 of this 4-part Bible class series on life issues.

This week: “When Is It Okay to Pull the Plug?”

This study looks at end-of-life issues with an emphasis on the Biblical principles that deal with God’s authority over life and death. We will also have time for discussion on real-life scenarios that can guide us in making ethical decisions for ourselves or our loved ones.

Mr. Tim Snyder, CLR Media Coordinator, will present part 4 of this 4-part Bible class series on life issues.

This week: "Communicating My Wishes"

This last lesson will deal with the tools that are available for making end-of-life decisions and how to use those tools in a manner that is consistent with Christian principles. We will discuss medical directives, hospice, talking with your family about your desires, and many other issues.

Times: 12:00 Noon - Pre-Conference Registration (May 28); 8:00 A.M. - Conference Registration (May 30 & 31)


This conference is entitled "Be Well, Serve Well."

The conference begins at noon with a pre-conference on "Leading from the Second Chair" by Dr. Lou Jander and "God's Stewards are Managers: Working with Volunteers" by Dr. Jamie Spikes. Includes keynotes and break-out sessions. Conference fees are $55 for pre-conference AM session; $55 for pre-conference PM session; $90 for Day 1 conference (May 29); $90 for Day 2 conference (May 30). Checks made payable to Concordia University Wisconsin
(sorry, no credit cards can be accepted).
